IT is not too often you’ll come across someone who likes to be thought of as something of a “perfectionist” in the property maintenance, renovation and repairs field – or if you do it usually means you will be paying a premium price. However, in the case of Marc Neal getting it just right includes getting the right price for the job in hand – and all in a friendly manner.
Marc and Lesley are located in Northlew but cover a 40-mile radius, which of course incorporates a lot of the Admart Magazine area. The Fixer’s ethos is: “If we wouldn’t be happy with a lower standard of workmanship, then why on earth should anyone else?” The company slogan builds on this: “If you can’t, we can.”
Marc gained much of his wide experience in the trade from his father who specialised in kitchen and bathroom fitting and also gave him an excellent grounding in woodwork and carpentry skills in which he definitely excels – to the extent that Marc enjoys working with wood and woodturning as a hobby outside of the working day.
Complete services are available in the areas of Kitchen & Bathroom Fitting, Plumbing, Tiling, Painting, Decorating, Repairs and Maintenance, and also indoor and outdoor wood-related applications including fencing, decking and bespoke sheds.
Marc enjoys working on jobs of all sizes “from fitting a single shelf upwards” and says he especially likes to see projects all the way through from start to finish, including solving any buildings regulations issues. If need be he can swiftly call in skilled electricians and gas fitters to complete and sign the work off officially.
